Editorial Process

The editorial process at UTU Scientific Publishing is designed to ensure the highest quality and integrity of the research we publish. Our dedicated team of editors and experts works closely with authors, reviewers, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and rigorous publication journey. Here's an overview of our editorial process:

• Manuscript Submission
  • Authors submit their manuscripts to the mailbox of the respective journal. The manuscripts undergo a thorough check to ensure adherence to our submission guidelines, including formatting requirements, ethical considerations, and any specific instructions for the particular journal or book.
• Editorial Assessment
  • Upon submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment. Our experienced editors review the manuscript to evaluate its relevance, originality, scientific soundness, and alignment with the focus and scope of the journal or book. Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum criteria or fall outside the scope are returned to authors without further review.
• Peer Review
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are sent for peer review. We follow a rigorous singledouble-blind peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are concealed from the authors, but the reviewers are aware of the authors' identities.
• Editor's Decision
  • Based on the peer review reports, the assigned editor makes a decision regarding the manuscript. The decision can include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection. Reviewers' comments and recommendations are shared with the authors to guide their revisions or support their acceptance.
• Author Revision
  • Authors have the opportunity to revise their manuscript based on the reviewer's feedback and editor's comments. We encourage authors to address all concerns and provide a detailed response to each comment or suggestion. Revised manuscripts are then resubmitted for further evaluation.
• Final Acceptance
  • Once the revised manuscript is received, the editor reviews it to ensure that all revisions have been adequately addressed. The final decision is made, and accepted manuscripts move forward to the production stage.
• Copyediting and Typesetting
  • Accepted manuscripts undergo professional copyediting and typesetting to ensure language accuracy, consistency, and adherence to our publishing standards. Our skilled editorial team works closely with authors to maintain the integrity and clarity of the manuscript while enhancing its readability and presentation.
• Proofreading and Layout
  • Proofreading is conducted to eliminate any remaining errors or inconsistencies. The manuscript is then laid out in its final publication format, incorporating figures, tables, and other supplementary materials.
• Publication
  • The finalized manuscript is published on our online platform, ensuring global accessibility to the scientific community and interested readers. We provide a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for each published article or book chapter, facilitating reliable citation and referencing.

Throughout the entire editorial process, we maintain clear communication channels between authors, reviewers, and editors to address any queries or concerns. Our aim is to provide timely, constructive, and transparent feedback to authors while upholding the highest standards of academic publishing.
